Auto Blogging and Automatically Creating Content for your Blogs

question“It is my understanding that auto-blogging means all the content is generated automatically.

How do I put my partiulcar keywords into the title, meta keywords, meta description, etc to help the SEO of my blog?

Would I have to do this manually for each of the posts which are automatically generated?”

ANSWER:

No, the articles posted get the title from the articles found on the feed source such as from the article databases. So, if the author is SEO conscious, they include the keyword in the title already. This title is then copied to your blogpost and to your post title tags, etc.

Auto-Creating Good Titles

You may also notice a field titled, ‘Title Template’ inside of the settings page of WP Scraper, WP Feeder and the YouTube plugin, WP Tube. Inside of this field you should see something like…

title

WP Spinner adds some icons there to each of the spinnable sections including the title section.

So, the Title will be replaced by the title of the article in this case.

Spinning Keywords Into Your Titles

That’s great! But, what if you want to also randomly include keywords in your titles?

No problem. You can easily drop a long tail keyword into both the title of the article (usually an H1 or H2 tag) and the Page Title (in the header section of your page). Simply stuff a list of keywords in this section after the [TITLE] tag.

Note: If you want to keep your blog open to views from human visitors, you probably DO NOT want to do this as it may appear slightly spammy (ish). If its ONLY for the SE’s, then its not an issue.

An example might be something like:

auto-blogging

…where kw1-3 are replaced by real keywords.

So, lets say one of your categories was ’spanish ringtones’.

You might make your title something like:

auto-blog-title

Now, on eZineArticles.com, I see there are over 200 articles for that come up when searching for that term alone. Without looking too deep it appears that might be a niche little niche to build a blog or two around.

Some random titles that might be generated from the above example using the approach described would be something like this below where the yellow is the title pulled from eZineArticles and the light blue is randomly pulled from the WP Spinner keyword list from above.

seo-titles-3

Or, another example…

seo-titles-4

Summary

It may not be perfect for humans because it looks slightly spammy (though not horrible) but its great for Search Engines and SEO.

Now, since we’ve created a keyword rich post title, Wordpress will also include this title as the header Title so now two very important SEO important areas will contain the long tail keyword.

Its a bit random and untargeted but in the end, it works.

Keywords and Latent Semantic Indexing (LSI)

question“I’m confused about selecting my keywords. If I’m trying to sell ‘ringtones’, for example, then shouldn’t most (if not all) my keywords contain the term ‘ringtones’ in it?

Whether it be:

  • beyonce ringtones
  • download beyonce ringtones
  • get beyonce ringtones online
  • etc.

how would I NOT use the word ringtones here to avoid over-saturating that keyword?”

ANSWER:

Yes, if you are targeting ‘ringtones’, many of your longtail keywords (keyword phrases with 3 or more keywords in them, for those that don’t know) will also contain the word ringtones and that can oversaturate that base keyword and actually do more harm than good, SEO wise.

A couple things to remember

You’re not creating articles using spinning programs that spin in random keywords from a list of keywords. You are borrowing full articles and well written content from authors who have ALREADY thought about all this stuff FOR you.

That means, you don’t have to worry about putting keywords in the articles. Just make sure the title and descriptions are good.

You can use WP Spinner to randomly put keywords into the footer of each article to make sure your long tail keywords are getting placed throughout your sites. For longtail placement, this is usually enough when it comes to onsite SEO. Just be sure to do it in a creative way that does NOT look overly spammy.

SEO is not just about putting ‘ringtones’ as many times as possible or just about putting your longtail keywords either. Think Latent Symantec Indexing or LSI. The basic principle is that you can get ranked for ‘ringtones’ without ever even using the word ‘ringtones’ based solely on relational connectivity.

LSI Keywords can be found using google adwords keyword research tool.

LSI Keywords

To illustrate, here are the related terms I discovered for ‘ringtones’.

Additional keywords to consider

ring tones
free ring tones
true tones
truetones

free ring tone
realtones
polyphonic
real tones

ringers

mobile phone ring tone
cell phone ring tones

mr tones

download realtones
wallpapers
picture messages
melodies
keypress
polyphonic tones
mobile wallpapers
cell phone wallpaper
logos
truetone
free downloadable
free cell phone wallpaper

They don’t use the term ‘ringtones’ but are still related and DO help your rankings for your base keyword without having to over use the main keyword.

Better SEO Results by Diving Deeper into LSI Research

You can then do deeper keyword research on some of those LSI terms to expand your LSI lists.

For example, now do a search for ‘truetone’ or ‘mobile wallpapers’ or ‘melodies’ or do a search on Google for a list of the top 100 ringtone artists or top 1000 hiphop musicians, etc etc. These are all LSI terms and will help you.

Just put your root keyword in the header title, description and keywords tab… make sure the word ‘ringtones’ does shoe up, sprinkle your longtails in the footer and target LSI terms also.

Keywords, Targeting Loosely, Hitting the Target

Another thing to remember is that when you are looking for RSS Feeds, targeting by longtail keywords is a futile effort at best.

You’re not going to find many articles written to target ‘amazing ringtones for under $1′ or something like that. You’d be lucky to find 1 article (reeeally lucky).

So, just find anything and everything on ‘ringtones’ then go after other related root terms where you’ll more likely find hundreds or thousands of articles and drop longtails into the footer of your posts.

Very Soon, Down the Road…

We have a new plugin coming out in the next few days that will rewrite your posts for you so you won’t have to bother much with worrying about duplicate content penalties anymore.

Search Engine IP Updates

question“I read something about having to keep my spider ips updated. How long will my spiders be updated for from when i purchased the product.”

ANSWER:

When you purchase Wordpress Cloaker, you are given our basic spider package which contains I think around 19,000 spider IPs. This is more spiders than most other commercial lists you could get your hands without paying more than $350.

Update Spider Bots Manually

You can update this list manually by adding IPs to it, subscribing to spider IP lists etc, but honestly, there is really no free solution that is worth a darn out there. If you use spiderspy or something like that, you’ll pay $350/yr for updates and their list is somewhere around 13,000-15,000 IPs I think, give or take.

I was charging $10/mo for my updates but as of this weekend, I am now offering lifetime updates across unlimited domains for $97 – flat cost for a single user.

Our master list grows daily, gets posted every 4-hours and is up to 138,000 IPs now. Really a must have!

As of Friday, 77% of our customers were subscribers. After the price change and special offer, about 94% of our users are on board with this solution.

question“How do i suscribe for the monthly update program?”
Yes, I know this may sound like a scripted question but, its not :) All our Q&A are actual questions from our customers’ lips…

Creating Keyword Targeted Posts with Wordpress Cloaker

question

“Does WPC create pages using only the keywords I provide or does it create pages on related terms which it finds by itself?”

ANSWER:

For this, I’ll answer a short response and then lead you to the videos for deeper coverage of this topic.

Wordpress Cloaker does not create content at all, by itself. It focuses on powerful cloaking features and redirection processes, referrer faking, etc to help you cloak safely in almost any situation.

But, combined with WP Tube, WP Feeder and WP Scraper, currently available as free bonuses when you buy WP Cloaker unlimited licenses package, it becomes a content creating solution.

Each Plugin Does Something Similar Pulling From Different Content Sources

WP Tube goes to YouTube and pulls videos and attached text and data and posts it to your blog. The title and content of these posts depends entirely on the poster + you have the ability to use the products spinner features to add more unique content to each video post.

WP Feeder grabs RSS feeds from sources you specify and posts this content to your blog as blog posts. You tell it what keywords to use and what feeds to pull from and it posts this content to your blog. This tool relies on the posts including the keywords within them.

WP Scraper – Similarly, and probably the best (as far as SEO goes) of the three plugins is WP Scraper. WP Scraper can hit any of hundreds of different article directories, or probably millions of different blogs and forums, and pull full RSS content based on your settings.

Removing the Guesswork from SEO

The nice thing about this approach is that I would guess 90% of all articles submitted to article directories are written specifically with SEO in mind.

This means that the articles you post to your blog are ALREADY optimized FOR you. The authors put a lot of time and energy into creating quality content because they want that link back to their site and they want their articles to rank highly in the search engines. So, you’re leaning on their SEO skills. Makes no difference whether you’re an SEO whiz or not. Most of the authors know a thing or two. Many of them are serious SEO pros.

All that said, the keyword distribution is not going to be entirely controllable on your posts. The onpage SEO of your blog be the mean average of all your posts, by all the authors across all the RSS feeds, blogs, forums, article directories you pull from. It’s hit and miss ranging from mediocre to near perfection.

Not hard to live with considering we’re talking about a fully automated blog that will build itself into infinity and beyond! :0)

Summary

You WILL get some good rankings off of your blog providing you:

Don’t Spam only wire and the social bookmarking sites

Be smart and use good feed sources, not ONLY popular article directories like eZineArticles, iSnare, etc

Find blogs and forums in your niche and pull from those also.

Don’t over post. 1-5 posts per day is the smart zone. More than that and you’re asking for trouble.

Actually spend a little time and thought in your setup and finding quality feeds.

Basic SEO Principles: Finding the Sweet Spot in Keyword Density

question

“I have heard it is not good to include the same phrase too many times for the keywords – for example, if i was doing ringtones, it would be bad to have too many `artist ringtones` keywords. What is the WPC perspective on this or the best practice here?”

ANSWER:

That is generally correct.

Finding the Sweetspot!

On page SEO is about finding the sweet spot by carefully distributing weight between your primary keywords throughout a web page. Once you find that sweet spot, you’ve reached the peak as far as on page optimization goes.

I say ’sweet spot’ because too little or too much is what its all about. Using the exact phrase, ‘artist ringtones’ too many times is a no-go. Using it too few times is just as bad.

Basic Keys to Onpage SEO

The keys as I have found them are:

1. The longer the tail on your keywords, the fewer times you should use it in your page. (Ie., ‘ringtones’, feel free to use it 10 times out of 1000 keywords. ‘artist ringtones’, maybe just 2-3 times. ‘download artist ringtones free online’, just once, twice max.

2. Having the keyword in the domain, Title, Meta Keywords and Meta Description and H1-H6 tags has so much weight to it that you would NOT probably want to put a long tail keyword in ALL of those places. One or two is enough. If its a more primary, root keyword, yes, place them throughout all of the above.

3. If you have placed a keyword in one of the primary places on your page (as seen above), place it at least once in the main text of the page, again using the basic rules above to help gauge your sweet spot.

4. It wouldn’t hurt to also have your keyword(s) in one or two other more obscure places like as an image name, image title, link alt, etc.

I’ve been able to achieve #1 rankings for hundreds of top terms using the above basic principles in my on page SEO efforts.

Offpage SEO

But, in the more recent years, off page is a MUCH greater factor and this is where you need to focus the bulk of your effort. Let Wordpress Cloaker and the auto-content plugins do most of the work, pick your feeds and content wisely, take advantage of the WP Spinner functions to include additional keywords and/or keyword links (a great way to interlink blogs in throughout your own network of blogs over time).

Getting Backlinks

Then, submit those sites through onlywire and use every possible means to automate the building of backlinks to your blogs to increase your ranking power over time.

We have an automatic way to increase backlinks coming out soon that I’ll talk more about later… for now, lets focus on the Wordpress Onlywire plugin as a temporary working solution.

How to Automate Submission to Social Bookmark Sites for SEO!? [FAQ]

onlywire

question

“I want to target about 20 prime keywords in a single blog using the Onlywire plugin to promote and build backlinks. I do NOT want to bookmark every single post I make, but I DO want to bookmark the 20 posts relating to my target keywords.

How can this be done?”

ANSWER:

See my breakdown below…

Pick your 20 keywords and create a new category for each keyword.

Setup your feeds/scrapers/tubes for each cat

Setup onlywire plugin but don’t worry about that much. Just set it up to post 10% or 20% of your posts. Don’t go overboard. Over time, they’ll each get in there. Onlywire plugin will do this randomly for you. You can’t really control it.

One other thing I sometimes do if I DO want to control it a bit more is install the Social Bookmarks plugin:

http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/social-bookmarks/

Then, you can maually submit any articles of any real importance to the top social sites (digg, reddit, stumble, twitter, etc).

Summary

So, to sum it up, don’t worry about controlling things too much.

Set up your auto-blogs with all the recommended plugins + any others you may personally like. Take advantage of any feature that benefits your site’s overall SEO performance.

Be sure to grab quality content, don’t just plug into eZineArticles.com database straight away and expect magic to happen.

This part will take a little work…

Instead of being lazy here, find niche blogs and forums that have great content that is very focused to your niche. EVERY niche worth marketing has at least a handful of popular blogs and forums to pull feeds from.

Setup some great feeds, get quality content and you will do awesome.

DO NOT cut corners setting up your auto blog. All you have to do is a little work now and it will pay off down the line.

So, do your level best!

Then, AFTER you’ve worked, you can sit back and relax and let the system do its magic.

Don’t Stop There!

NEXT… start building anothert blog!

One very nice thing about the Wordpress Cloaker system when used with the content generation plugins is that you save SO much time, you won’t have to stop at just one site.

Its EASY to create one blog per day, per week or even one every couple of weeks. A year later and at minimum you should have 25 blogs pulling steady traffic every day.

By that time, you’ll be able to setup a killer auto-blog in under 30-minutes flat. And, not some junky, spammy blog but a solid blog with quality content that could literally get visitors to bookmark and return regularly due to valuable content.

And, you will have DONE it, almost fully auto-mated!

FAQ: I’m Afraid Cloaking with PPC May Lead to MY PPC Account Getting Banned. Is This True?

question

“I agree this tool would be excellent to try get some free organic traffic, but i`m afraid that using it in adwords could get my account banned!”

ANSWER:

Cloaking is not one for the faint at heart.

But, that’s why we suggest always covering your tracks, using throw away domains and throw away accounts.

One question you might ask yourself would be: Do I have a friend or relative who would agree to partner with me for say, 5-10% of my profits in exchange for them contributing their PPC accounts for your Joint Venture?

This could free you from any risk and in the unlikely event that something WOULD happen, your account is protected and no major loss.

I would think hard before cloaking on an account that you have a ton of older, more successful campaigns on or one that you’ve put a lot of work into and would feel bad if you lost the account.

That said, I have NEVER, ever seen or even heard of anyone losing their adwords account for cloaking. Generally Google would just send you a warning telling you that they don’t allow redirects.

That’s it.

They don’t want to lose you as a paying advertiser. That’s how they make their mulla.

Plus, quality score enhancement is not exactly criminal. Nor is it even a big concern to Google. I wouldn’t sweat it, personally but, I also would never try to make up someone else’s mind for them.

Just use your own better judgement. Maybe ask around to see if anyone has ever had an adwords account banned for using WPC. I highly doubt it.

FAQ: How Does Auto-blogging with Wordpress Cloaker Automatically Increase my PR?

question

“You say that autoblogging will increase my sites PR due to lots of incoming links. How does WPC do this? i mean, build the incoming links? wouldn`t i have to do this manually?”

ANSWER:

Well, WordPress Cloaker currently comes with a few bonus plugins:

  1. 1. WP Tube
  2. 2. WP Feeder
  3. 3. WP Scraper
  4. 4. WP Spinner

These are all content generating plugins that help you build any number of pages targeting any number of niches or keywords.

So, here’s how it breaks down as far as link juice and PR…

1. You need inbound links

So, how do you get those?

Well, there are lots of ways, some easy and some not so easy…

The Hard Way

An example of good backlinks that are hard to get would be to manually find sites to partner with you and send each person an email asking for reciprocal link exchange, and other old school methods.

The Easier Way

But, nowadays you have lots of easier options, some automated, others more semi-automatic or work intensive.

An example would be to go to blogs and make comments and include a link back to your blog or web site. Sounds great but you still have to find sites that don’t use the no-follow attributes on their links or you get no Google love at all from a lot of work.

A couple samples of good high PR sites that don’t use no-follow would be from some .edu sites (hard to find but VERY good)

see below for a small sample of good ones:

http://www.csdhead.cs.cmu.edu/blog/2009/07/30/at-last-useful-social-networking

http://diva.sfsu.edu/blog/04-20-2009/using-content-outside-of-diva

http://connect.rhodes.edu/blog/tyler/

http://apps.career.colostate.edu/blog/archive/2009/09/09/telluride-film-festival-inspiration.aspx#feedback

An Even EASIER WAY

But, there are better ways, more automated that don’t require much work. ONE of those would be to use some of the great WordPress SEO plugins you can find for free out there.

One I like a lot is the Onlywire plugin. You simply setup a free account with Onlywire and create your accounts with the various sites that it submits your blog posts to for you.

Note: Takes about 30-45 minutes of work but well worth it!

Once you’ve finished the account creation process, the Onlywire plugin automatically submits each post (or a percentage of your posts, so you don’t over do it) to lots of different social and web 2.0 sites.

Keep in mind that each of these are high PR sites and by submitting your posts to them, you are creating some nice, quality backlinks to your blog posts.

Here’s a full list:

FINALIZE
Technorati
FINALIZE
Tumblr
Twitter
Yahoo Bookmarks

…All this on auto pilot each time you submit a new post!

The PR coming in to a single post from these sites adds up and of course gets distributed to your domain.

2. Next you need to automate the backlinks

To trigger onlywire’s magic, you need lots of new posts created daily. This is where The WordPress Cloaker Suite of tools steps up to lend a hand.

These tools will easily allow you to setup a handful of sites all posting 1-5 new posts per day on auto-pilot, just the way you want it. With the help of the Onlywire Wordpress plugin, each of those posts will be automatically submitted to all of the above sites and generate tons of backlinks for you.

You now have backlink building totally hand free that willl help your PR increase dramatically over time with nearly zero effort.

Finally, Wordpress Cloaker comes into the picture allowing us to redirect visitors anywhere we want. We want our visitors to see a perfectly orchestrated landing page, not a bunch of blog posts that aren’t going to convert or directly make us any money.

But, yes, all in all, a very automated way of handling backlink building.

FAQ: What are the Advantages of Wordpress Cloaker if I Only Intend to Target a Single Keyword?

question

“Regarding PPC, what is the advantage of WP Cloaker over direct linking?

If I already have an SEOd blog targetted to ONE keyword which i want to target, couldn’t I just direct link (from the keyword level in google) to a ‘pretty’ landing page?

I agree that if i wanted to target more than one keyword from the same site and if i needed autoblogging, WP Cloaker would be an excellent tool, but for MY situation described above, is there any advantage or reason I should use WP Cloaker over simple direct linking?”

ANSWER:

Depends what you’re going for, of course…

But, with Wordpress Cloaker you can have your entire blog targeting 1 or 100 or 1000 keywords. Each page is visible to the search engines so you end up with tons of pages indexed in Google. But, you can cloak real visitors to any site of your choice. Its a seamless, instantaneous redirect or masked redirect so the visitor is unaware that they’re being served content from a different domain/page.

In effect, you have lots of pages ranking but total control on where the visitor is being sent.

Your situation may be unique and different and its possible you don’t need or want the functionality. Again, just depends on what you’re trying to accomplish.

But, food for thought; why NOT have auto-blogs targeting many top keywords for your niche all built on auto-pilot?

I mean, if I target 600 keywords and create hundreds or thousands of pages on my blog built over time, I’m always going to outperform a blog targeting a single keyword with much fewer pages.

I would suggest using your main 5-10 keywords to theme your site after and then use all the related long tails you can to:

1) Increase relevancy of your main keywords by targeting related terms. This will actually increase the rankings for your main keywords by helping strengthen the ‘theme’ of your site.

2) Increase rankings of your main keywords by building a larger number of internal links (hundreds or thousands of pages all linking back to the homepage where you should be targeting your main keyword).

The increase in internal linking will give a boost to your PR which will also increase your keyword ranking for that keyword.

3) Take advantage of the SEO features of WP plugins (like web 2.0 site submissions + social bookmarking, pinging, etc) coupled with WP Cloaker content generation techniques. This will greatly increase number of inbound links to your blog and give you much great PR juice to:

a) increase your site’s PR thereby increasing your keyword rankings and,

b) earn yourself lots of PR juice you can then distribute anywhere you want, ie., to other blogs/sites you may own, etc.

One of the major benefits of auto-blogging is the backlink juice and PR power you generate by owning so much web real estate + the inbound links you get to all those pages. Being in total control over that PR juice is rare, powerful and very valuable. With social sites and web 2.0 type sites, they control the links, you just pray they give you what your ask for. But, with your own network, you control it all forever and send as many links anywhere you want whenever you want – total control.

Not saying you should do anything unless you want to 100% but, personally, its a no-brainer for me. And, yes I’m the developer of WPC but long before I created this tool I was doing all the same things because it works.

On the other hand, if you’re talking strictly about getting a visitor from ‘Site A’ to ‘Site B’ and using WordPress Cloaker as a tool for only that functionality, yes, it would be the “best” way to do it (safest, easiest) but it would be horrible overkill, IMO.

Plus, if you have a site that is highly ranked already for a keyword that generates traffic and/or income, I would shy away from cloaking on that domain just to avoid any unnecessary risk of losing your rankings if something were to go wrong.

WPC is intended more for auto-blogging, not necessarily on NEW domains but, on new SITES. That is, aged domains are great for cloaking and using a blog that is just sitting there doing nothing and if you wouldn’t cry if something happened to it – but, again, not intended as an extension of a site that is already profitable and performing well without it.

Its also important to understand the full benefits of cloaker to your PPC campaigns. You might but, I’m not sure…

For example, when you say “direct link” from Google to a pretty landing page…”, yes, you can do that but:

1) you don’t get the value of having Google look at your highly optimized, SEO’d blog content and seeing THAT page as the landing page and then

2) safely redirecting human visitors to your pretty page.

So, in that respect, Cloaker would give you the added benefit of increased Quality Score.
